Costa Smeralda: Caffè Sole opens in Winter 2017/18

Good news are arriving from Marriott International e Qatar Holding that own and manage the Costa Smeralda resort. In an attempt to extend the tourist season in fact, they decided not only  to keep open the Cervo Hotel, with its restaurant and bar, all year round, but also the historic Caffè Sole, in Porto Cervo square. The Caffè Sole is one of the main attraction of Porto Cervo fashion center, and it will open from the 8th December and for the whole Winter 2017/18, from 8 AM to 5 PM (closed on Sunday).

But not only, the Cervo Hotel in fact is also launching the new “Cervo Andino” restaurant (“Andean deer“), with the chef Rafael Rodriguez’s fusion menu (and dishes such as “risotto chica morada“, “asado de tira” or the “cannoli churros with maracuja“) and live music. The Cervo Andin Restaurant will be opened to everyone and not only to the hotel’s guests, every day from 7PM  for the aperitif and dinner.

It’s an important news because during the winter –  off season  – the turism locations on the coast tend to get very quiet, because the most of attractions, restaurants, pubs and discos simply close. It’s something that you have to evaluate if you’re going to buy a property in some areas of Sardinia. But now, Costa Smeralda now is definetely getting more lively even during the low and lowest season.
